Summary on millennials in the workplace

This text is based on a report about two different global surveys conducted by Pricewaterhouse  Coopers and Deloitte. First one is responses of millennial (born between 1983 and 1993 ) and non millennial collected on the topics of workplace culture, communication and work life balance. Second survey is on the study about their knowledge of threatens and opportunities in their work environment.
In the survey it was found that millennial are as committed to their work as like their senior colleagues and they maintain the balance between work and personal life. They are also flexible in their working hours and believe that success is measured by productivity not in working hours. Millennial want support and also appreciation from their company and sometimes they want more opportunities to develop their skills. Also they are more loyal to their company with strong ethics.
From the survey, there are some recommendations made for the organisations to retain the millennial. Managers should monitor their employees work load and their work life balance by creating flexible work culture. They should provide interesting opportunities and support their professional development. Organisations should solve wider social problems instead of aiming only about profit making.
